Design Museum Academy Adult Workshop
Workshop: Screen Print
Join this introductory workshop inspired by the iconic designs held in the museum’s permanent collection and create your own screen-printed image using stencils on a tote bag or tea towel.
What to expect
In this creative workshop, you will experiment with hand-cut paper stencils to come up with unique, bold screen printed designs onto textiles.
Designer Georgia Bosson will guide you through all the techniques you will need along with handy hints and tips should you ever wish to try this brilliant process again at home.
Please note that this workshop is suitable for beginners and no previous experience is required.
Light refreshments and all materials will be provided for the duration of the session.
Each participant will go home with a unique hand-screen printed tote bag or tea towel.

Georgia Bosson
Georgia is a print and product designer specialising in textiles. Her collections combine hand screen printed textiles and timber products with quilting and embroidery. Her creative process is craft-led with drawing and paper stencil screen prints forming the backbone of her research. Inspired by finding patterns in unexpected places, from British beaches to Mexican churches, she seeks to create a fresh and contemporary yet timeless aesthetic. Visit @georgiabosson
